Does Joy Have a Seating Chart? No — We Do
Joy is a good home for your wedding website, RSVPs and guest list. When it's time to put those guests at tables, though, there's nothing to open.
Does Joy have a seating chart tool?
No. As of September 2026, Joy has no seating chart or table-assignment tool. Its guest list page suggests using tags for table assignments, and its help center's guest list overview doesn't mention seating at all.
Tags are useful for grouping people, but a tag isn't a table. Nothing shows you who's at table 6, whether it's over capacity, or which guests are still unseated.
What Joy does well
Joy covers the parts of planning that happen before seating: a wedding website, RSVPs, and a guest list with parties, plus-ones, tags and custom columns. If your RSVPs are coming in through Joy, keep them there.

Using Joy and Seat the Day together
- Export your guest list from Joy as a CSV. Joy's help center covers this.
- Put it in a Google Sheet and connect that Sheet to your wedding in Seat the Day.
- Seat everyone. From then on, changes in the Sheet or in the app sync both ways.
- Print the chart for your venue, or put the QR code on a sign so guests can look themselves up.
Your website and RSVPs stay on Joy. If more RSVPs arrive after you export, add those guests to the Sheet.
